Local anaesthetic
Many procedures are best undertaken with some anaesthetic.
This is given either by an injection or spray a few minutes before the surgery. The medication used is the same as what the dentist uses.

We use very tiny needles and mostly the anaesthetic is a painless injection. Numbness will last for up to an hour.

Before your surgery, we will ask you if you have had an allergic reaction to anaesthetics in the past.
